Cook Medical Australia is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D team in our Australian Head Office at Eight Mile Plains. Reporting to the R&D Manager for Women's Health, this hands-on position will involve:

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing ideas and new products in the field of  assisted reproduction and general surgery
  • Responsible for Project Documentation, including test protocols, validation reports and risk analysis
  • Generation of manufacturing and quality control documentation with regards to new products or changes to existing products

 Key Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Demonstrable problem solving skills
  • Experience in product development
  • An understanding of the regulatory requirements for the medical device industry
  • Scientific approach to product testing and validation
