As part of our continued commitment to ongoing product development, we seek the services of a suitably qualified and committed IT Manager to join our Asia Pacific Region.
The Role
- Under the direction of the Director Asia Pacific and Global IT Director, the IT Manager is responsible for maintaining the regional computer infrastructure and information systems
- Working under limited supervision, evaluate the user needs and develop strategies to meet those needs
- Planning, developing and implementing IT solutions for the business
- Scheduling upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems
- Researching and installing new systems
- Ensure maximum uptime for all computer systems
- Ensure compliance with all software licensing laws
- Providing secure network access for all remote users
- Ensure security of data from external and internal attack
- Mentoring, training and developing IT staff
- Develop and maintain a disaster recovery plan
The Person
- Bachelors Degree or Higher in IT or related field
- Minimum 10 years experience in IT infrastructure planning, development and support
- Proven management experience essential
- Ability to work with low levels of experience
