Our client is one of the world's leading technical fastening solution companies in the aerospace, automotive and general engineering fields.  Working with their clients at all stages of the design and development process to deliver the RIGHT fastening solutions, they are now seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced individual in the role of Field Application Engineer to work throughout North Brisbane and North Queensland.  Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible to deliver exceptional business results through the provision of efficient, professional customer service and sound technical advice.

 The Role

• Effectively manage relationships with existing customers, and develop relationships with potential new customers to achieve agreed sales targets
• Provide support as needed to other territories in the Queensland  region
• Plan and deliver sales seminars and in service clients on the company's products
• Ensure paperwork, pricing and reports are completed in a timely manner

 The Person

• Mechanical aptitude, with a minimum of three years experience in an industrial solution selling environment highly desirable
• Excellent communication with strong attention to detail
• Enthusiastic, energetic, proactive and very well organised
• Highly developed interpersonal skills
