COOK Medical is a member of the privately owned COOK Group of Companies. COOK research, develop, manufacture and export minimally invasive medical devices worldwide. With a focus on innovation and ingenuity, COOK products represent state of the art technology in all of their markets. Reporting to the Business Development Associate, this role will provide analytical, administrative and sales support for Business Development.  

The Role

Rotate 4 monthly through 3 areas of Business Development including Tenders and Contracts, Special Pricing/Annual List Price Review and Healthcare Business Solutions Support. Tasks for the role include:

• Maintain and coordinate the special (discount) pricing function, including the preparation of price/quote agreement documents
• Identification of tenders and liaison with relevant sales units
• Assist in the preparation of tender submissions
• Assist in the monitoring and support of Corporate Accounts and Performance Incentive Agreements
• Letter drafting, converting data into information and reporting

 The Person

• Tertiary qualification in business related discipline preferred
• Pre-existing capability with Microsoft Office essential
• Demonstrable active interest in pursuing a business career
• Interest in the business of human health industry is advantageous
• Strong verbal and written communication with all levels in the organisation
