COOK is at the forefront of medical research and product development in minimally invasive health care devices. In an effort to support our continuing growth we seek the services of a dedicated R&D Scientist to join our Media team.
The Role
- Manage R&D projects relating to IVF media formulations and production improvements from conception through to commercial reality
- Responsibility for testing, validation and the generation of test reports, protocols and risk management documentation
- Maintain R&D area in a state that is suitable for the manufacturing of aseptically filled products in an ISO Class 7 Clean Room
The Person
- Relevant science qualifications
- 2 years previous work experience in scientific research
- Pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing experience preferred
- An understanding of the principles involved in pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Be able to plan and manage project tasks to meet deadlines and milestones
- Microsoft Project experience
- Ability to work in a clean room
- Attention to detail and high standards for quality
